Yesterday, 24th November the National Board of Public Radio & Television has selected 3 candidates out of 10.


According to the “Unuudur “ /Today/, “Udriin sonin” /Daily news/ newspapers, the National Board of Public Radio & Television has selected 3 candidates out of 10 interested candidates for general director of the Public Radio & Television.

8 members, who participated at the National Board meeting have voted for Mr.Ts.Enkhbat, executive director of the TV-9 station on secret ballot. The other two candidates who got a majority voice on the meeting were Mr. S.Myargmar, owner of the private studio “Boroldoi” and Mr.L.Aruinbat owner of the “Arigu” Co.Ltd. As the journalist of newspaper Today informed, althougn Mr.Enkhbat has delayed his application and programm and he inaccurately answered to all questions during the interview maked by Board members a most of members supported him.

Ms. R.Burmaa, member of National Board refused to vote for the party supported candidate and left the meeting. She explained that, Mr. Enkhbat didnt give many related materials to the candidates application including a program on future action, a list of his publication and creation and a clarification on party membership as the rule required. He gave a hand written one page paper as his programm on future action.

National TV community has established the Collective board to defend their rights and this board are attentively observing the general director appointment process. The Collective Board handled its statement regarding to the appointment a three time before and after the first selection of candidates handled one more statement. On last statement the Collective board demanded to refocus on candidates selection which was made under the political party pressure.
