From 30 January to 01 February 2015, Community Radio Association of Mongolia has organized three day training among it’s member local radio representatives. It was held in the framework of the project “Supporting the development of sustainable community radio movement in Mongolia with the finding of IPDC.

CRAMO (Community Radio Association of Mongolia) has organized his biannual General meeting on 2 February 2015 at Puma Imperial hotel. During the General meeting local radio managers has discussed a common challenges that community radio stations are facing now and had developed the strategy and action plan at local level.

The former minister of Road and Transportation, Mr. A. Gansukh, has filed a criminal lawsuit against Mr. L. Davaapil for defaming him through social media. A first instance court hearing was held in December 2014 during which the accused was ordered to pay a 9.7 mln. MNT (approx. US$5,200) fine in compensation, in accordance with the Criminal Code, provision 111.2; the amount is 51 times higher than the minimum wage.

Globe International Center is implementing a three-month project titled “Integrating Digital into Organisational Strategy” with the support of the IFEX, the global network for defending and promoting free expression. The goal of the project is developing an effective and efficient communications strategy that is well suited to its overall objectives and organisational mission, especially with regard to its Freedom of Expression network.
