Starting from 21 October 2005, Globe International NGO have begun to implement a project, of 2 inter-related activities designed to build the capacity of free-expression monitoring in Mongolia in cooperation with IFEX and Moscow-based Center for Journalists for Extreme Situation over a 12-month period.

The final round table on "ROLE OF INDEPENDENT MEDIA IN COMBATING CORRUPTION" was held at 10.00 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2005, at the conference hall of Open Society Forum.

UNESCO is marking World Press Freedom Day on 3 May 2005 by holding an international conference in Dakar, Senegal on the theme of media and good governance.

Globe International has presented the results of media monitoring conducting due to 2005 Presidential Elections taking place on May 22, 2005 at the press conference organized on 25 April 2005.

Globe International has received grant from IFEX- international freedom of expression eXchange clearing house based in Toronto, Canada (www.ifex.org) to publish its 2004 annual report in English, produce flyers about the organisation’s activities and website maintenance.
